When Casino MonteLago opened last month, Harry's was added to the Lake Las Vegas dining scene, and it's a welcome addition. You can dine indoors or on the patio. The Italian/American menu has breakfast from 6:30 to 11 a.m. featuring Harry's frittata (omelet topped with chicken, mushrooms, onions, peppers, rosemary) and frittata Caprese with roma tomatoes, garlic and mozzarella. Other selections include Italian French toast with a touch of almond. Entrees include salmon filet, lasagna, spaghetti, chicken Parmigiana sandwich, half-pound Angus hamburgers, chicken cutlet in lemon-caper-white wine sauce and grilled 16-ounce New York strip steak. Sandwiches come with fries, and pastas are served with garlic bread. Entrees come with vegetable of the day or garlic mashed potatoes. Featured appetizers include portobello fries with pesto dipping sauce, truffle cheese fries, beef carpaccio and summer salad with spinach, romaine, strawberries, blueberries, pecans, red onion and grilled chicken in poppy seed dressing. Desserts include affogato al café, chocolate or vanilla gelato "drowned" with a double espresso. Breakfast begins at $7.50 and entrees at $11.50. Harry's is open from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. daily.
