Pilot gets whacked for doing the right thing

While you stand in a TSA line at an airport awaiting your official grope, have you ever wondered how secure and thorough the security line is for airport and flight-line workers?

I've actually walked the back halls of McCarran airport in Las Vegas watching employees move about. And it does make you wonder.

So, this pilot out of Sacramento becomes alarmed at what he's seen at this nation's airports and posts YouTube video showing the security lapses. And what does he get? Nothing but discipline.

In my mind the guy's done the country a service. Instead of lowering the boom on him, we ought to look carefully at his concerns and fix them if they are righteous.

But, of course, this is the bureaucracy of the federal government we're talking about. Can you imagine what's going to happen to this nation's airport security when the Obama Administration allows/encourages the TSA to unionize?
