Police say teen fed pot brownies to students, staff

An 18-year-old Ohio high school student is accused of bringing marijuana-laced brownies to school and distributing them to students, WDTN reports.

At least one staff member also ate one of the brownies.

“The student was cooperative during that investigation he was able to give us some evidence of the leftover brownie,” Nathan Anderkin of the Springboro Police Department said.

“That brownie was ultimately taken booked into evidence. It’s going to be sent to our Miami Valley crime lab and analyzed just to confirm traces of marijuana in that brownie.”

The teen was suspended facing expulsion. Charges have yet to be filed but he could be charged with trafficking and drug corruption.

Four other students who consumed the brownies received a maximum suspension of 10 days.
