Polygamists in ninja gear try to rob Utah home

Two armed polygamist women dressed as ninjas robbed a home in a Salt Lake City suburb on Friday, only to be stopped by a homeowner with some ninja gear of his own.

Police told the Salt Lake Tribune two women, dressed as ninjas and armed with knives and a stun gun, tried to rob a West Jordan home shortly before 4 a.m. on Friday.

The homeowner subdued one of the women with his bare hands, but then the second woman brought out a stun gun, according to police. Another person in the home came to his rescue with a ninja sword and held the two women until police arrived, according to the Guardian.

Police told the Guardian the home was that of a victim in a child sex assault case against the women’s husband.

The women are 18 and 22 years old.
