Pregnant dog buried alive under sidewalk for 2 days

Repair workers in Russia fixing a collapsed sidewalk buried alive a pregnant dog that was found alive two days later.

The dog, Belka, in the Russian city of Voronezh, was using the hole as a den, FOX2 Now reported. Repair workers paved over the sidewalk, either not knowing or not caring the dog was there.

Two days later, neighbors heard barking and a Russian couple dug out the dog themselves. Belka was saved, but she ended up losing her puppies.

The dog will be put up for adoption.
