Reid makes morning TV scene

Nevada Sen. Harry Reid hit the national media circuit this morning to discuss the fallout of Tuesday’s mid-term elections.
Looking a little bleary eyed after a sleepless night, Reid said that the overriding message is that Congress must work together to help rebuild the nation’s economy.
“All of us who are going to be in the Senate have to work together. That is the message from the American people,” Reid said during an interview on CNN.
On NBC’s Today Show, Reid said that he hopes there won’t be gridlock in Washington, D.C., and suggested that he will be able to work with both Kentucky Republicans - Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell and Tea Party favorite Rand Paul.
Asked directly if he could work with Paul, Reid said he could.
“I listened to his speech last night. He has some set ideas but we all do,” Reid said.
