Reid on February jobless numbers: ‘Still much to be done’

Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., said this today in reaction to reports that Nevada's unemployment rate dropped to 13.6 percent in February:

"While today's employment figures show that we have made some progress, there is still much work to be done and job creation must continue to be our primary focus. I am encouraged that flights into Nevada's tourist destinations are up, construction and hotel-casino jobs appear to have stabilized and that we are closer than ever to breaking ground on the DesertXpress high speed rail project, which will create 34,000 jobs.  However, we need to focus like a laser on putting Nevadans back to work, which is why the first three bills we brought up in the Senate have been about one thing: job creation.  I will continue doing everything I can to ensure every Nevadan who is looking for a job can find one.”
