Reid on October jobless rate: ‘Another reminder jobs must be top priority

Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., reacting to this morning's report that Nevada's unemployment remained at 13.4 percent in October, said this in a statement:
"October's unemployment rate is another reminder that we must continue making job creation the top priority. The veterans’ jobs bill is an example of what Congress can do to help get Nevadans back on their feet. Unfortunately, Republicans have repeatedly blocked every other piece of President Obama's jobs agenda that would put thousands of Nevadans back to work. I will continue working to turn our economy around and I urge Republicans to join me in that effort."
