Richmond American, Pottery Barn to host design event at Gallery

Richmond American Homes and Pottery Barn are teaming up to present a design seminar today from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the home builder's Home Gallery at 7770 S. Dean Martin Drive, Suite 10.

This complimentary event will provide an inside look at the latest trends and styles, according to Richmond American's new home manager Susan Lee. Refreshments will be served, plus all attendees can enter for a chance to win a $500 Pottery Barn gift card.

"We're excited to welcome design consultants from Pottery Barn because so many people know and love their classic styles. Home design is such a popular topic right now, and this event is a great chance to get an inside view of all the latest trends," Lee said.

Pottery Barn began as a single store in Lower Manhattan in 1949. Since that time the company has grown to a nationally recognized furniture and accessory chain with multiple stores in every state as well as Canada.

The Home Gallery is a 22,000-square-foot retail space the offers information on the builder's Las Vegas neighborhoods, floor plans and design options.

A team of professionals, including design consultants, new home specialists and mortgage counselors from Richmond American's affiliate, HomeAmerican Mortgage Corp., will be there to provide assistance and advice.

"Having this seminar at the Home Gallery is really helpful because we have so many design samples on display," said Home Gallery Design Manager Russica Murphy.

"We have six model kitchens you can walk through, color studios that display matching finishes, and so much more. Time after time, home buyers tell us that choosing their design options at the Home Gallery is their favorite part of the process."

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Blue Diamond Road exit and go west. Turn right on S. Dean Martin Drive and right on Robindale Road. Take the first right into the parking lot, then take an immediate left and follow the parking lot to the Home Gallery.

Richmond American Homes is building more than 30 neighborhoods throughout Las Vegas.

Prices range from the mid-$100,000s to the low $600,000s and homes span from 1,100 to more than 3,800 square feet. Model homes and sales centers are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Friday, when they open at noon.
