Riverstone opens in a grand way

Riverstone at Prescott Park by Pardee Homes marks the first of several scheduled grand openings for the builder in 2008. Grand opening events are under way at Riverstone today and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Located at the northeast corner of Grand Teton Drive and San Mateo Street, north of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, Riverstone features four one- and two-story floor plans that range from 1,596 to 2,669 square feet with three and four bedrooms. Pricing is anticipated to start from the mid-$200,000s.

"Pardee Homes has been building new-home communities in Southern Nevada for close to 60 years and we're excited to kick off the year with the opening of Riverstone," said Pardee Homes' regional sales director Rob Tuvell. "The floor plans are really designed for today's buyer with features such as kitchen islands with seating, spacious great rooms, bonus rooms and personal options for fireplaces and master bedroom retreats."

Riverstone is the last neighborhood planned for Pardee Homes' Prescott Park master-planned community, which is centered around a 4.5-acre park which features a tot lot and playground structure, climbing wall, game tables, basketball half-court, open field, amphitheater, picnic benches, barbecue grill and shade structures. It is available exclusively to Prescott Park's residents and their guests.

Riverstone Residence One measures 1,596 square feet in a single-story design with three bedrooms, two baths, den and a two-car garage. Optional features include a master bedroom retreat in lieu of a secondary bedroom and a fourth bedroom in lieu of the den.

Residence Two is a two-story design that measures 1,986 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, den, adjoining great room and kitchen and two-car garage.

Residence Three is a two-story design that measures 2,467 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, two-car garage and optional bonus room.

Residence Four measures 2,617 square feet in a two-story design with up to four bedrooms and three baths, bonus room and three-car garage.

Homes are EnergySmart, which means they have been enhanced with money-saving, energy-efficient features including spectrally selective glass to help keep homes cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Other EnergySmart features include ceiling insulation and sealed ducts. Each EnergySmart home is independently certified to assure that it exceeds energy code requirements by at least 15 percent.

To visit from U.S. Highway 95, exit I-215 east; or from Interstate 15, exit I-215 west. Follow I-215 to Decatur Boulevard and turn north. Turn right on Grand Teton, then left on San Mateo.
