Ryland gets into giving season with toy drive

Ryland Homes is celebrating the holidays with a community toy drive, appliance packages for homeowners and new neighborhoods.

"We are serving as Toys for Tots drop-off locations at all of our valley sales offices," said Dana Rogers, president of Ryland Homes' Nevada division. "We are collecting new, unwrapped toy donations internally and from the community through Dec. 19 and hope you will join us in brightening the holidays for Las Vegas children."

The builder has nine neighborhoods open throughout Las Vegas and Henderson with two more opening next month. Addresses, office hours and contact information for each office are listed on the website.

Through the end of the month, Ryland Homes is offering a stainless steel appliance package for all homes that enter into contract by Dec. 31. They includes a General Electric refrigerator, range and dishwasher.

"We like to brighten everyone's holidays and our new stainless steel appliance promotion is the perfect thing for home shoppers during the holiday season," said Kelli Ball-Cunningham, sales counselor. "The kitchen is where homeowners spend most of their time, as it is usually the central location for meals, entertaining and unwinding from a long day."

Ryland is also planning grand openings for its two newest collections, Amado Pointe in Summerlin and Ryland at Evergreen in Mountain's Edge.

Amado Pointe, near Summerlin's The Mesas village includes four contemporary floor plans and is adjacent to the community's 19-acre Mesa Park. Amenities include tennis courts, basketball courts, green belts, barbecue and picnic areas, a playground and softball fields.

"Amado Pointe is one of the rare new home collections in Summerlin and is ideally located near this spacious and beautiful park," said Ball-Cunningham.

The collection's four two-story floor plans range from 2,175 to 2,389 square feet and include as many as four bedrooms, as many as 3½ baths and two-car garages. The homes also will include options for the builder's signature rooftop decks, giving homeowners additional outdoor living and entertaining space as well as sweeping city views.

Evergreen is in Mountain's Edge, a master-planned community in southwest Las Vegas. Floor plans will feature homes with dual master suites, tech areas and walk-in pantries, as well as oversized garages. The builder also offers large home sites and its signature rooftop deck option.

"Ryland at Evergreen residents will also enjoy the private Club at Yellowstone, one of the most comprehensive amenity offerings from Ryland Homes in Southern Nevada," said Shelly Strait, sales counselor.

The Club at Yellowstone includes a fitness center, family swimming pool, toddler wading pool, spa and private adult pool. Residents also can enjoy shade canopies, a basketball court, barbecue patio and outdoor play structure. The facility's three buildings house locker rooms, meeting room with big-screen TV, full kitchen and children's activity center. Residents can rent common areas for private parties.

Ryland Homes is selling new homes in eight collections throughout Southern Nevada with prices starting at $157,990. Sales offices are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Fridays. For more information, visit www.rylandvegas.com.
