Ryland showcases Henderson homes

Ryland Homes has opened two Henderson neighborhoods, which offer a variety of floor plan choices.

The builder's Jasmine and Cordova Estates collections, located near Del Webb Middle School and Liberty High School, offer townhome, single- and two-story floor plans in gated neighborhoods.

"Jasmine is a collection of large two-story townhomes ranging in size from 1,479 to 1,682 square feet," said Ryland Homes Vice President of Sales and Marketing Randy Char.

"It is one of the few townhome collections in Henderson and perfect for those who want convenience and amenities. A pool, spa and spacious clubhouse residents can reserve for private parties give the amenities of a luxury community with the intimacy of home."

Jasmine is built around a walking trail, giving residents plenty of opportunity to stroll or exercise within the gated neighborhood.

"The neighborhood is laid out very well with lots of cul-de-sac streets, which minimize traffic, and ample guest parking spaces throughout," said Jasmine sales counselor Joel Campbell. "Plus the three models offered at Jasmine are brand new to Las Vegas and include many modern design elements that homebuyers love."

Among Jasmine's floor plans is the signature "upside down" Orchid model. This 1,682-square-foot home includes a front entrance midway between the first and second floors with the main living areas on the second floor.

"The master bedroom, great room, dining room and kitchen are on the second level, with a balcony just outside the kitchen and dining room," Campbell said. "You can have dinner on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful Southern Nevada weather."

One block north of Jasmine is Cordova Estates collection. Like Jasmine, Cordova Estates is located in a gated neighborhood and has its own community park.

The neighborhood offers three floor plans ranging from 2,400 to 3,039 square feet in single- and two-story plans. Each home offers as many as six bedrooms, as many as three baths and many have three-car garages. Pricing starts in the mid-$200,000s.

Among the plans at is the 2,400-square-foot Corbel plan. This single-story residence includes four bedrooms, 2½ baths, walk-in closets in the master and third bedroom, a walk-in kitchen pantry, oversized cooking island and great room. Home buyers have options to include a sun room, additional kitchen cabinets and a sink in the laundry room.

"And if that doesn't give you enough choices for a new home in Henderson, this weekend we officially open Ryland Homes' newest neighborhood, Catania," Char said.

Catania is located near the St. Rose Hospital's Siena campus, the M Resort and the Henderson Executive Airport.

Today, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Ryland Homes celebrates the grand opening of Catania and its four new floor plans.

Home shoppers are invited to stop by for live music with an on-site DJ, free barbecue lunch, drinks, dessert and a roaming magician for the children.

Guests will have opportunities to win special prizes and giveaways and watch stunt demonstrations by the LV Movie Masters Nexus, a professional Las Vegas stunt team.

The neighborhood's four plans measure from 1,626 to 2,169 square feet and are priced from the mid-$100,000s.

Among the plans Char predicts will be a hot seller is the 2,169-square-foot Natalia plan. The two-story residence includes three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a two-car garage.

"Great plans and great amenities are also available at Catania, with a pool, spa, clubhouse and park just for residents," Char said.

Every residence in Jasmine, Cordova Estates and Catania is Energy Star qualified and includes energy efficient air-conditioning systems, low-e windows, vinyl window frames and radiant heat barriers inside each roof.

"Homes in all three neighborhoods include standard design features like Corian kitchen countertops, raised panel doors, lever door handles and cultured marble bath countertops that would be considered upgrades with other builders," Campbell said.

Ryland Homes is currently selling new homes in 12 collections throughout Southern Nevada. Its Jasmine, Cordova Estates and Catania sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and noon to 5 p.m. Mondays.
