Former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, joining singer Sammy Hagar was on stage Saturday at The Pearl (Palms)for a three-song encore with guitarist Joe Satriani and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. While walking off stage, Hagar stopped to autograph an actual 55 mph road sign that was carried in by a fan of Hagar’s hit, “I Can’t Drive 55.” In the crowd: Music group Alizma, which features three blonde triplets who play electric violins. Hagar and Smith were spotted dining with separate parties at N9NE steakhouse (Palms) following the concert.

Oscar-winning actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman, declining a photo Saturday with Bunnies at the Playboy Club (Palms) out of respect to his girlfriend. Also at Playboy Club: UFC fighter Kenny Florian and sports announcer Mike Goldberg.

Singer Cassidy, delivering an impromptu performance Saturday at Poetry nightclub (Forum Shops at Caesars). Baseball star Barry Bonds, rapper Xzibit and MTV reality star Rob Dyrdek, dining together Saturday at N9NE steakhouse (Palms). Also at N9NE: Toronto Blue Jays slugger Frank Thomas and former NFL quarterback Jay Fiedler. Bonds and Dyrdek were also spotted at Tryst nightclub (Wynn). It was Bonds' third consecutive visit to Tryst.
