Staffed for your amusement: Business provides performers

Looking for the next client appreciation party to take place at the NASA Space center complete with celebrity astronauts, giant four-legged space creatures, little Martians and a current presidential look-a-like paying a visit, posing for photos with the guests?

There is a company for that.

With its top-notch hotel-casinos and extravagant shows, Las Vegas has billed itself as the Live Entertainment Capital of the World, and northwest Las Vegas-based support production company Everything Entertainment was designed to make people's wildest dreams come true.

"Our goal is always to produce the most creative and innovative event you can imagine — exceeding your expectations, yet staying within the target budget," said company vice president Constanza Mancilla. "From conservative to extremely outrageous, we will make it happen."

Having a background in entertainment, Las Vegas native Mancilla saw the need for a support production company that could assist those looking to create over-the-top parties and events.

"Back in 1994, I began getting phone calls from some of the clients that I would get work from who asked if I could gather, for example, mariachis for a Latin event they would be having," Mancilla said. "I realized that I was really going out of my way and all stressed out doing all of the running around, staying up late and doing a lot of research to not let them down and hoping to secure favor with the people asking me to help and just getting more work secured as a performer for myself."

Eventually, Everything Entertainment Inc. was born out of demand and the need for quality corporate entertainment, Mancilla said.

Mancilla, along with her husband and company president Guillermo Areizaga, provide all facets of professional entertainment, such as floral, props, decor and full-service photography and video.

"Constanza is really in charge of visualizing the concept, but I'm in charge of bringing the idea to life," Areizaga said. "We both pay attention to detail and supervise every single event."

Inside their warehouse in the northwest area, there are hundreds of costumes hung on the wall, and they have costume designers available to create extravagant designs, such a a strolling couture table and light-up body costumes.

The couple design most of the costumes for their entertainers, which include interactive Cirque du Soleil characters, shadowbox dancers, neon dancers, synchronized swimmers, fortune tellers and Las Vegas showgirls.

They have hosted parties for well-known celebrities, including Paris Hilton and Miley Cyrus.

Possibly their most impressive feat was creating a company event for 4,000 people in four hours that featured a disc jockey, a photo booth and live entertainment.

They also cater to weddings to assist with floral, music and wedding planning and coordination.

Couples looking to have disc jockeys, string quartets or hip-hop artists play at their wedding can contact the company for wedding music.

Looking for something more extravagant? Celebrity artists, headliner groups, opera singers, Broadway artists and Hollywood entertainers are also available.

"I've had the honor to talk and work with so many incredible talents from all over the world," Areizaga said.

Perhaps what makes the dynamic duo such good business partners is their experience in show business.

Mancilla grew up hearing stories from her mother, Gloria White, an original Las Vegas showgirl. Her maternal grandmother was a Ziegfeld Follies girl, and her father was a matador from Mexico City.

Areizaga also has an entertainment background: His mother was in show business in her earlier years with the national professional Ballet of Bellas Artes, and his cousin, singer Claudia Vazquez, is the daughter of then-famed singer Alberto Vazquez.

The couple work late hours, long days and show no signs of stopping.

"We do not just supply talent; we create concepts, costumes and unique floral designs. We handle complete events for our clients as support partners in the event industry," Mancilla said. "Our name really means everything in entertainment."
