Summerlin to add neighborhoods in two villages

Summerlin, the largest master-planned community in the Las Vegas Valley, will add several neighborhoods to the community’s inventory of homes this year. In two Summerlin villages, The Mesa and The Paseos, homebuilders are breaking ground and forming interest lists for six new neighborhoods.

“We are continuing the long-standing tradition of building not just beautiful homes, but, creating a signature lifestyle as well,” said Peggy Chandler, senior vice president of Summerlin.

“The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin, is careful to not only select homebuilders that build quality homes with popular floor plans that are brimming with outstanding home options and amenities, we are dedicated to creating beautiful neighborhoods unmatched in the valley,” she said.

Development by three homebuilders is underway in The Mesa village, with new neighborhoods conveniently located near Bishop Gorman High School, one of the valley’s top private schools.

Cielo by Woodside Homes has floor plans ranging from 2,100 to 3,500 square feet.

Built with Woodside’s standard energy efficient construction, they include popular features such as gourmet kitchens with beechwood cabinets, stainless steel sinks and General Electric appliances.

Monte Bello by Richmond American Homes has floor plans ranging from 2,950 to 4,200 square feet.

With three to six bedrooms and up to 4½ baths, these ranch-style and two-story floor plans include three-bay garages and offer myriad design elements such as wide, curved kitchen islands and large sliding glass doors for seamless indoor/outdoor living spaces.

Vista Dulce by Toll Bros. is a gated luxury town-house neighborhood slated to break ground in late 2014 and is offering three, two-story floor plans from 1,580 to 1,889 square feet. These homes come standard with three bedrooms, a two-car garage, full driveway, covered loggia and private backyard.

KB Home in The Paseos commenced construction on model homes to unveil Tevare, a gated neighborhood offering five floor plans with single-level and two-story homes.

At up to 2,625 square feet, the homes offer three to five bedrooms, nine-foot ceiling heights and built-to-order options for home customization.

Woodside Homes’ construction crews recently broke ground on Belmonte, a gated, two-story neighborhood offering three floor plans also located in The Paseos.

Ranging from 3,202 to 3,934 square feet and including three-bay garages, Belmonte offers executive-style luxuries including outdoor kitchens.

These homes are pre-selling in The Paseos Andorra neighborhood sales office.

Development at Segovia by Pulte Homes has also begun in The Paseos village. This gated neighborhood offers three two-story floor plans ranging from 2,776 to 3,364 square feet.

Modeled by Pulte’s Life Tested Home Designs building concepts, these floor plans include consumer inspired designs such as owner entries, covered patios and optional casita and guest bedroom suite.

“With more neighborhoods slated for late 2014 and early 2015, Summerlin will continue to welcome new residents and even more new neighborhoods to the community,” Chandler said.
