Summerlin’s Andalusia in Paseos nears completion

Several two-story home floor plans are selling in Summerlin's Andalusia in The Paseos village. The neighborhood, which opened in January, is nearing completion as sales have surpassed expectations, said Kevin Orrock, executive vice president of master-planned communities for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin.

"Andalusia's spacious floor plans accompanied with its picturesque location near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has proven to be a winning combination with valley homebuyers," Orrock said. "The neighborhood is understandably one of Summerlin's fastest-selling, attracting both new and existing Summerlin residents seeking a larger home in an exclusive area."

Andalusia by Woodside Homes features three home floor plans that range from 2,986 to 3,439 square feet priced from the high $300,000s.

Homes feature great rooms, kitchens with granite countertops, birch wood cabinets, as many as six bedrooms, as many as four baths and attached three-car garages.

Woodside Homes' floor plans are available in Spanish Colonial, Craftsman and Prairie Ranch-inspired architectural styles.

Andalusia by Lennar features four home floor plans that range from 3,125 to 3,864 square feet priced in the low $400,000s.

Lennar's Andalusia floor plans feature as many as seven bedrooms and three or more baths.

Lennar's Everything's Included program provides homebuyers with standard upgrades that include green technology, safety and kitchen and bath features. Standard options also include 18-inch-by-18-inch tile, low-energy dual-pane vinyl windows and stainless steel appliances.

Similar to other Summerlin neighborhoods, Andalusia is gated and has a private park for the exclusive use of its residents.

Andalusia is one of several neighborhoods located in The Paseos village, Summerlin's most western village developed to date.

The village features Hacienda-Mission architectural styles and is home to The Paseos Park, which was voted "best park" in the 2012 Best of Summerlin campaign.

The 12½-acre park features soccer/tee ball fields, sand volleyball and basketball courts, a tot lot, children's play areas, picnic pavilions, interactive water features, motorized-toy area and open turf areas.

Additional amenities located in and near The Paseos include miles of walking trails, schools, parks, restaurants and neighborhood retail centers.

Additional neighborhoods, featuring single- and two-story homes, are scheduled to open in The Paseos village in 2013.
