Sun grasps the obvious; calls it news

In the phone-it-in category, take a look at today's Las Vegas Sun. The huge lead story features a pole dancer and a story about the club scene in Las Vegas (a decade late, gents.) The writer includes such gems as, brace yourself, the goal of a casino is to keep gamblers "in the joint" as long as possible.

Now, I know it's summer and all, but something's gotta be goin' on. It is Las Vegas, you know. The only other story stories on the front page of the Sun today include one on how the County Commission wants to keep the Strip safe (Really? I would have never guessed) and another "insight" piece on how commercial real estate will be the last business sector to come back in the Las Vegas recession. Who cares which one will be last; which one will be first? Not newspapers, apparently.
