SUNDAY MORNING PIX: Criss Angel Afterparty; Fantasy ‘Girls’; Sarah Palin Strippers; Andre Agassi — October In Review
November 1, 2008 - 8:37 pm
October is now behind us, so let's take a leisurely stroll through a few choice moments of the crazy month — Criss Angel's Halloween opening party; the strip club Sarah Palin lookalike contest, and more, as seen through my amateurish camera attempts.
Here's the Criss Angel "Believe" afterparty at the Luxor pool on Halloween night. Good party. Look for my column on "Believe" in Monday's Review-Journal. (Professional photo slideshow of Angel's red carpet is here.)
Backstage at the Sarah Palin lookalike contest at Club Paradise (video of the event is here, while a professional photo slideshow is here):
They hit the stage:
And the winner is Kimberly Jones, there in the middle standing next to Jeff Beacher. Love the big check.
And love the sign outside:
The women of "Fantasy" at Luxor pose at the release party for their new calendar:
This was some swanky little party where Olympians showed up at Palms Place to promote jewelry made by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mike Crovetti. You can see his line of stuff here. It's made out of surgical steel.
Check out this flag. It's signed by Ray Romano, Sarah Ferguson, Elton John and some other stars. It's a fundraising piece for the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation, autographed backstage at a few events.
Vegas' very own The Killers performed at Agassi's "Grand Slam For Children." They rawked. I'm not just saying that.
And Sheryl Crow played the Agassi concert. It was the best I've ever heard her. You can see how intimate the little concert room was, since I was able to just walk right up to the side of the stage.
