Texas police pull over woman, young children at gunpoint

A Texas mother driving with four children was pulled over, handcuffed and held at gunpoint until police realized they pulled over the wrong car.

Forney police were looking for a beige or tan-colored Toyota containing four men, one of whom was reportedly waving a gun in the air, according to WFAA.

The woman who police pulled over was driving a red Nissan Maxima.

Dash camera footage shows the police yelling at the woman, Kametra Barbour, to put her hands up and get out of the car. Her 6-year-old son Ryan does the same moments later, crying.

In the video, you can hear one of her children ask, “Are we going to jail?”

“I need you to make sure you have all the facts, because you can’t just say, ‘Okay, I’m sorry,’ and then I’m over it. I can’t,” Barbour told WFAA. “Every time I listen to and hear or think about it, it bothers you. I can’t just say, ‘I’m fine. It’s okay. It’s not a big deal.’ It is.”

A detective from Foley police confirmed there was a weapon involved, but did not comment on the incident.
