The answer Obama should have given on why he raised taxes to pass HCR

A few bog posts ago, I wondered whether President Obama could sell his HCR when he took 17 tortured minutes to answer a town hall question about why he raised our taxes to pass HCR. You can quickly refer to that post by clicking here. It is remarkable even now that after more than a year of debate, our president can't answer that simple question with some degree of clarity.
Obama's clumsy response was the topic a discussion in which Charles Krauthammer gave the correct answer. And, he only took 20 seconds.
Meanwhile, back in Nevada, I hope somebody gets a chance to ask Sen. Harry Reid that question. The good senator is on a bus tour of Nevada and presumably somewhere along the line he'll face a question from a voter not hand controlled by his campaign. (Yes, I am ever the optimist.) Anyway, I'd be very interested to know why Harry thinks he had to raise all of our taxes to pass HCR ... and why he placed the enforcement of HCR with the IRS, which is already too intrusive in the lives of Nevada's tip-based economy.
