The Aristocrats: Company features “The Sopranos” machine

The unabashedly optimistic operators of Global Gaming Business magazine have difficult duty these days: Namely, trying to put out a cover that accentuates the positive and downplays the doom and gloom of the current state of the casino industry.

This month’s cover features Aristocrat Americas president Nick Kihn and COO Seamus McGill.

Inside the magazine, an Aristocrat video slot ad announces the approach of “The Sopranos” machine.

You remember “The Sopranos.” It was the popular show on the ups and downs of a New Jersey mob family.

Just a thought, but do you suppose anyone in the gaming industry is going to do a little throat clearing and suggest, even delicately, that perhaps sending the mob image through the casino industry might be just a little controversial?
