The best part of wakin’ up …

I love my first cup of coffee in the morning. Now, I would not say that "the best part of wakin' up is Folgers in my cup." After open heart surgery, the best part of wakin' up is, well, wakin' up.

After that, coffee certainly gets a high ranking. And I think Folgers is a spectacular cup of coffee for the price point.

But I had an a-ha moment this morning. A few weeks back I bought the new Starbucks K-cup coffee and threw it in with my Folgers K-cups. This morning I found myself digging through the Folgers looking for Starbucks.

Note to self: Buy more Starbucks ... stock.

PS: Don't get me wrong. Folgers still makes a great coffee and I'll still buy it. Folgers also still has one of the best advertising jingles in the biz. Tune in here to hear it sung by a number of different artists, including Aaron Neville and Johnny Cash. Priceless.
