This sassy little girl’s ‘Respect’ dance routine is adorable — VIDEO

A 6-year-old girl from Raleigh, North Carolina, stole the show at her tap dance recital, demanding a little “respect.”

A video of her dance to the 1967 hit “Respect” by Aretha Franklin, posted on Facebook by her mother, Elissa M. Colón, was captioned “Johanna channeling Aretha Franklin!”

“She really didn’t know who Aretha Franklin was, and when I told her about her and played it, she said, ‘Ooh, she’s got a lot of sass, mommy,”’ Colón told Today.com.
