Titus attack ad: Heck ‘a man of no integrity’

A new ad by Incumbent Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., features a retired police officer accusing her Republican challenger Joe Heck of lying in his role as health insurance consultant to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The new ad also features Regina Mitchell, wife of another Las Vegas metro officer who was injured in the line of duty, making a similar charge that Heck sided with an insurance company against her husband's claim.

"Joe Heck sat in a room full of police officers and lied directly to us," said retired Lt. Randy Suton, who had a heart disease claim rejected. "He is a man of no integrity."

Mitchell, whose husband wasn't identified in the ad, says "my husband was injured in the line of duty but Joe Heck didn't care."

While Sutton and Mitchell talk, words on screen read "Heck took the side of the insurance company," and Mitchell adds in her words "he is out for himself and his corporate friends."
