Tow truck driver fatally shot after repossessing car

An L.A. tow truck driver was followed and fatally shot for carrying out part of his job description — repossessing a car.

The truck driver, who authorities described as a 50-year-old black male, was being pursued by multiple cars during his scheduled stops and legal repossession, according to KTLA.

Police say he continued driving, struck another car near an intersection, got out of the truck and was then shot.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died. Authorities are seeking multiple suspects in this incident.
