Trump name rises to the top

Donald Trump's name became a permanent fixture on the Las Vegas Strip when construction crews installed the first of two 140-foot-long signs spelling "Trump" last week to Trump International Hotel & Towers Las Vegas. The 20-foot letters were hoisted one by one and carefully affixed to the top of the 64-story building.

"If it has the Trump name on it, you know it will be the best," said Brian Baudreau, vice president of development for The Trump Organization. "Residents and guests of Trump International Hotel & Towers Las Vegas will experience a level of luxury unlike any other in Las Vegas."

Tower I, which is set to open in early 2008, will contain 1,282 rooms, including studio units, one-bedroom units and one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites.

Each unit will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, European-style kitchens with granite countertops, Breccia Oniciata Italian marble floors in the entries and baths, custom-designed vanities with marble countertops, spa tubs in master baths, owner's lockout closets and TV mirrors.

The recently announced Tower II will offer 1,280 rooms and is scheduled to break ground in late 2008.
