Tuscan Cliffs homes offer courtyards for versatility

Outside is the new in at Tuscan Cliffs in Southern Highlands. The collection of semi-custom luxury homes has set the standard for indoor-outdoor living with its signature New Millennium Custom Home designs. The homes feature front, interior and rear courtyards. "Each home at Tuscan Cliffs is designed to reflect the personality and style of its owners," said Sales Manager Rob Evon. "Our use of courtyards enhances the level of seclusion for those who value privacy in their homes. They are also very versatile and can be used in many ways."

The courtyards are functional on their own or as extensions of the home. "They are easily accessed through our signature disappearing glass doors," Evon said. "They can become extensions of the dining room, living room or even kitchen. For example, by opening the dining room to an interior courtyard, you could seat more than 20 people for a dinner party. Imagine how dramatic that would look with half of the guests sitting inside and half sitting under the stars with a quiet waterfall in the background. It is a perfect setting."

One popular use for a front courtyard at Tuscan Cliffs is as an outdoor entertainment area. "It is ideal for those who choose to create a wine grotto in their downstairs casita," Evon said. All four of Tuscan Cliffs' model homes showcase front courtyards and covered rear patios. The Villa de Franchesca and Villa de Gabriella models also feature interior courtyards with access from multiple rooms.

Base prices at Tuscan Cliffs start in the low $1 millions. To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane, then turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Mondays when it opens at 1 p.m. The sales office phone number is 228-8559.
