Tuscan Cliffs’ New Millennium combines luxury with technology

Homeowners purchasing a Tuscan Cliffs New Millennium Home can turn on the spa, set the mood with music from the stereo or brew a cappuccino before leaving the house in the morning, all via remote-access, according to Rob Evon, sales manager for Tuscan Cliffs.

"Turn on the television, turn off the lights, pre-heat the oven or open the garage door," Evon said. "If it's electronic, you can control it from the touch of a button."

Using the Crestron technology system, Tuscan Cliffs homeowners can remotely control every electronic device in their homes from any computer or phone with an Internet connection.

"This is undoubtedly one of the most advanced home technology systems available anywhere in Southern Nevada," Evon said. "It's not just a novel idea to control your home technology anymore. It's an energy-saving partner in the home's design and functionality."

According to Evon, remote- access can save on heating and cooling costs by using both the air conditioner and heater less when residents are away. "That single convenience is of great value to those who want comfort when they come home, but also want to conserve energy when possible."

Each home at Tuscan Cliffs is available with a Crestron system, and in this way follows the builder's New Millennium Home philosophy, setting it apart from any other community in Southern Nevada, Evon said.

In a further show of technology, Tuscan Cliffs' Villa de Gabriella model showcases a complete home theatre and media room designed with Kaleidoscope, a server-based system that stores thousands of music and movie files. Kaleidoscope is an option for all plans.

Ranging from 4,328 to 6,001 square feet, more than 50 configurations of Tuscan Cliffs' semi-custom, resident designed homes are available among four base models.

Each offers a master suite with a separate retreat, an extensive rear patio, central courtyard and common areas for indoor-outdoor entertaining. Home sites measure at least one-quarter acre with premium lots, some with views of the valley, are available. Base prices start in the low $1 millions.

Residents receive a one-year social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval, according to Evon. To visit, take Interstate 15 to the St. Rose Parkway exit and go west. Drive north on Southern Highlands Parkway and proceed to Stonewater Lane.

Turn left and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when it opens at 1 p.m. For more information, call 228-8559 or visit pacificsouthwest.com.
