UNR Coach Mike Bradeson makes 19th appearance at UNLV-UNR rivalry

It wouldn't be a UNLV-UNR football game without Mike Bradeson in the building.

Bradeson, the Wolf Pack's secondary coach, will make his 19th appearance in this series when the teams face each other at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium. He spent the previous 14 seasons as a UNLV assistant before heading back north for his second stint with Wolf Pack. He also was on UNR's staff from 1986 to 1991.

UNR leads the series 20-15.

“They both take it pretty seriously,” Bradeson told the Reno Gazette-Journal. “That’s why it’s a rivalry. It’s so back and forth throughout the years. That’s what determines a rivalry. If it’s all one-sided one way or the other way, it’s really not a rivalry.”
