Woman calls 911 after being locked in trunk by stranger
A Colorado woman called 911 from the trunk of her own car after she says she was kidnapped, according to police.
The unidentified woman told police she was kidnapped while in a grocery store parking lot by a man with a gun who made her drive 30 miles west from Loveland to Estes Park, according to ABC News.
“I went to get some dinner,” the woman can be heard saying in the 911 call, “and someone came up to me and he had a gun.”
She said the man locked her in the trunk after reaching Estes Park. After the 911 call was made, a team of 16 searched the area and found the woman’s car with the keys nearby.
A suspect was not located.
