Women are nowhere near paid equally but Nevada is better than most
In 1975, women were typically paid 57 percent of what men were paid. Fast forward 40 years and that number has only slightly improved. In 2013, women were paid 78 percent of what men were paid — part of a steady, but very, very slow upward trend.
In Nevada, according to a report by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), things are a little bit better.
