YOUR WEEKEND: Gymnasts to vie for state title

More than 600 athletes are set to participate in the Nevada State Gymnastics Championships 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. until the 9 p.m. awards ceremony on Sunday at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel, 375 E. Harmon Ave.

Female gymnasts from around Nevada will compete for the title of state champion, both individually and as a team.

Admission for adults is $50 for all three days, $40 per day or $20 per session, and admission for children ages 10 and younger is $30 for all three days, $20 per day or $12 per session.
