You may not know Stephen Siegel, but if you live in Las Vegas you’ve seen his work.
The Warner Bros. comedy “The Hangover,” which was filmed around Las Vegas last year, was expected to have a solid but unspectacular showing at the box office this weekend. Instead, it finished at No. 2 with a $43.3 million debut, barely behind Pixar’s smash hit “Up.”
“The Hangover” features Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis as pals on a wild Las Vegas bachelor party, during which they misplace the groom (Justin Bartha) and run into all manner of misadventures.
