Legislators strike back at graffiti with bill

On a 40-2 vote, the Assembly approved a Senate-passed bill that allows civil lawsuits to be filed against the parents of children under age 18 if the juveniles have defaced property with graffiti. The property owner can seek triple damages and lawyer fees.
