Arbor View’s boys cross country team and Centennial’s girls team won Class 4A Sunset Regional titles on Friday morning at Veterans Memorial Park.

Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.

Coronado’s Tom Dougherty and Eddie Smisson took the top two spots in the sophomore boys race to lead the Cougars to the team title at the Bud O’Dea Classic on Tuesday at Desert Breeze.
