Pahrump Valley’s softball team used a 13-run second inning to storm past Moapa Valley, 15-6 on Friday at Boulder City.
Bailey Bennett-Jordan tossed a complete game and went 2-for-3 with a home run as Boulder City topped visiting Pahrump Valley, 15-3 in the Class 3A Southern Region second round on Wednesday.
Ysabella Morales went 3-for-4 with a double, a run and two RBIs Tuesday to help host Mojave’s softball team to a 7-4 win over Virgin Valley in the opening round of the Class 3A Southern Region tournament.
Cheyenne’s softball team forfeited all of its wins from the 2018 season on Friday due to the use of an ineligible player.
