A sold-out crowd at Las Vegas Ballpark will witness history Friday night as the Las Vegas Aviators host their inaugural postgame fireworks show.

The Las Vegas Aviators, the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will play their first game Tuesday night at a new $150 million home in Summerlin.
With the Las Vegas Aviators playing baseball at the new Summerlin stadium, neighboring land could eventually sprout a range of projects.
