One person died early Friday after the second of two shootings in less than six hours at a west Las Vegas apartment complex.
The Clark County coroner’s office has determined that blunt force injuries killed a 2-year-old Las Vegas boy who had purportedly drowned in October.
Officers were called about 2:15 p.m. to West Flamingo Park, near South Jones Boulevard, on reports of the stabbing, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
His body was found about 6:30 p.m. after the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 4200 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North, near North Nellis Boulevard.
A judge on Thursday rejected a motion arguing that a former Las Vegas police detective accused of shooting and killing her former son-in-law was wrongfully imprisoned.
