A Las Vegas woman shot by police while she was holding a shovel filed a $7 million federal civil rights lawsuit Tuesday against the police department and the officer involved.

The man who fatally shot a Las Vegas casino executive and wounded another during a company picnic last year was sentenced Thursday.
A Las Vegas man was convicted Monday of fatally shooting his girlfriend and her 17-year-old daughter, as well as critically wounding her 4-year-old daughter.
Two brothers were sentenced Wednesday for their roles in storming into a Lee’s Discount Liquor store in 2016 in southwest Las Vegas and gunning down a clerk.
