The Titans are the surprise team in the NFL’s final four. But the cosmic tumblers appear to have clicked into place for the Chiefs to go to the Super Bowl.
“(Tennessee’s upset) ranks up there with one of our best decisions ever outside of the Super Bowl,” Westgate vice president Jay Kornegay said. “(Sunday) was a different story.”
Sharp bettors liked that the Vikings covered as 7-point underdogs at New Orleans, and they’re backing Minnesota again as a 7-point underdog at San Francisco.
“I would make the odds that he’ll play for the Patriots minus 500 or he’ll retire,” said Ed Salmons, Westgate sportsbook vice president of risk.
Jay Kornegay, who won the Review-Journal NFL Challenge with a 50-33-2 ATS record, likes the Seahawks (-1½) over the Eagles and the Titans (+5) over the Patriots.
