Southern Nevada high school football coaches have decided as a group to shut down their summer strength and conditioning programs by Wednesday.

The Southern Nevada Football Coaches Association on Sunday sent a proposal to school, CCSD and NIAA officials to consider options for a fall or spring season.
Spring Valley’s football team has shut down its strength and conditioning program until July 25 after one of its players tested positive for COVID-19.
The Clark County School District is expected to install artificial turf on 29 football fields by the end of the 2020-21 school year. Construction will be done in three phases.
High schools whose practice plans were approved by the Clark County School District were allowed to begin their offseason programs Monday.
