A stretch of 10 months without high school sports in Nevada is set to come to an end when Amplus and Slam! Nevada meet in flag football Jan. 14.

Five players who helped lead the Patriots to their first state championship last fall signed to play in college Wednesday.
Legacy High’s Evan Olaes and Aaron Holloway are close friends who have been on the same football and basketball teams going back to when they met in elementary school.
The Clark County School District announced the winter sports season, which includes basketball, bowling, flag football and wrestling, has been canceled.
