Aviators miss out on Triple-A Championship at Las Vegas Ballpark but top PCL in attendance again.

Las Vegas Ballpark will host the inaugural Triple-A Championship Weekend beginning Friday. The event will culminate with the Triple-A National Championship game on Sunday.
Baseball star Maury Wills gave the spikes in which he stole 104 bases in 1962 to the Exber family of Las Vegas as a token of their friendship.
The clock is ticking for the city of Oakland and the Athletics to hammer out a deal to make the team’s $12 billion waterfront ballpark development dream closer to reality.
