The Las Vegas Lights are in their sixth season playing soccer in Las Vegas, and there remains a place for them as the town welcomes more and more teams.
The Lights kept MLS opponent Real Salt Lake scoreless for 105 minutes, but a late flurry of goals knocked the Lights out of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
The Lights will face Real Salt Lake in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday.
The Las Vegas Lights begin the 2023 season Sunday. Isidro Sanchez returns for a second stint as coach after being the coach during the team’s inaugural season.
