For the upcoming season, Las Vegas theatergoers are in for some treats, including Stephen Sondheim’s “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” at Nevada Conservatory and “Sweeney Todd” at Green Valley Ranch Resort. Insurgo Theater will inhabit a new space at the Plaza (its premiere production is Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot”). And Las Vegas Academy tackles the musicals “Guys and Dolls” and “Big River” as well as Thornton Wilder’s revered “Our Town.” And that’s not all.
