Tropicana owner Bally’s Corp. filed for a commercial demolition permit with Clark County as preparations continue to build a ballpark for the Oakland Athletics.

Bally’s Corp. chairman Soo Kim provided some preliminary plans on the upcoming demolition of the historic property.
The nearly 60-year-old resort on the Las Vegas Strip is scheduled to be demolished to make room for a new Athletics ballpark.
