The coronavirus pandemic prematurely ended the seasons for UNLV’s spring sports. Now the coaches and athletes are trying to make the best of the situation.
The NCAA Division I Council voted Monday to give college athletes who compete in spring sports such as baseball, softball and lacrosse a way to get back the season they lost, but did not guarantee financial aid.
Funeral services for former UNLV baseball coach Tim Chambers will be at noon Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1801 S. Monte Cristo Way.
