Connor Peterson had 14 points Monday to help Palo Verde’s boys basketball team to a 58-56 overtime win over visiting Centennial.
The host Gators (6-8) overcame a slow start to score a 50-44 victory over Spanish Springs in the diamond division quarterfinals. They’ll play Dimond (Alaska) on Saturday morning in the semifinals.
Cindylou Rasiang threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a score Friday to lead Bonanza’s flag football team to an 18-13 victory over Las Vegas High in the Mustang Rodeo at Shadow Ridge.
Taylor Etopio scored 13 points on Tuesday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls basketball team to a 54-48 home win over Green Valley.
Milos Uzan’s steal and basket with 18 seconds left broke a 61-61 tie and led the Desert Pines boys basketball team to a 65-61 home win over Eldorado on Tuesday.
Deborah Grant rushed for three touchdowns Tuesday afternoon as Green Valley’s flag football pulled out a 28-13 home win over Cimarron-Memorial.
Aiyana Evans and had 32 assists and O’ceana Clemens added 29 assists as Liberty’s girls volleyball team earned a 16-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-20 victory over visiting Silverado on Thursday.
McKenzi Hall shot a 3-under-par 69 at Paiute on Tuesday to share medalist honors and lead Centennial’s girls golf team to victory in Northwest League match.
