Mattress Mack didn’t get the Hollywood ending he wanted where he’d throw a party to refund $20 million to his customers after winning $25 million in wagers on the Houston Astros to win the World Series.

After Mattress Mack flew to Las Vegas on a private jet Monday to place $1.234 million in wagers on the Astros in Game 6, he went out for a $7.99 steak dinner at Ellis Island.
The Houston furniture store owner already has won $2.1 million in bets on the Astros in the playoffs, including $500,000 in Game 3, $500,000 in Game 4 and $135,000 in Game 5.
