WINNEMUCCA — Green Valley’s quest to win a fourth straight state wrestling title got off to a solid start on the first day of the Division I tournament Friday.

Lauren Ritter rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on nine carries to help Centennial’s flag football team to a 19-6 home win over Arbor View on Monday.

Jeanne Carmell threw three touchdown passes to Kinsey Smyth Thursday to help Boulder City’s flag football team secure the Southeast League title with a 25-0 home win over Foothill.

Jaymee Luke ran for three touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes Tuesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s flag football team clinch the Northwest League’s No. 1 seed for the postseason with a 46-29 home win over Centennial.
